About us
Hey mama (or mama-to-be, or future mama, or maybe just a curious soul wondering what the heck a sleep progression is)
Welcome to Chapter One Motherhood. This space was born out of midnight feedings, mental load breakdowns, diaper disasters, and the deep desire for something real, safe, and relatable. Whether you’re a new mom navigating your first blowout in a Walmart parking lot or a seasoned parent looking for a laugh, some comfort, or a tip that actually works – this space is for you.
So, What Can you Expect Here?
Real Life Stories and Answers

Tips and Tricks
Tips and tricks that actually help – and don’t cost a fortune. With Canadian-focused advice and links, because not everyone lives in California and shops at Target.
Safe Space to Talk Taboo
Taboo topics like mental health, sex after baby, resentment, rage, poop talk – we go there.
Why the Name Chapter One Motherhood?
Because this is where the real story begins—complete with plot twists, midnight feedings, diaper blowouts, and moments that make you cry (from laughter, exhaustion… or hormones). Chapter One Motherhood is a collaboration of moms writing our first messy, magical, and very real chapter together. No filters, just feelings (and probably some spit-up).
Let’s Build a Village
We’re not meant to do this alone. So let’s share what works, laugh at what doesn’t, and hold space for the mess inbetween.
Thanks for being here. This is just the beginning
Authenticity
We don’t sugarcoat the spit-up. Chapter One Motherhood is a safe space where real talk reigns—whether it’s about postpartum bodies, toddler meltdowns, or the joy of finally drinking your coffee while it’s still hot. We believe in sharing the messy, beautiful truth behind motherhood without filters, guilt, or judgment.
Empowerment
We’re not just raising babies—we’re growing into the strongest versions of ourselves. At Chapter One Motherhood, we celebrate the small wins, lift each other up, and encourage every mom to trust her instincts. Because when moms feel empowered, families thrive.
Community
It takes a village—and this is ours. From first-time moms to seasoned pros, Chapter One Motherhood brings women together to share stories, offer support, and remind each other that we’re never in this alone. No perfect parents here—just perfectly imperfect moms showing up for each other, one chapter at a time.
Relatability
We’ve been there. The sleepless nights, the mom guilt, the wondering if you’re doing any of it right. Chapter One Motherhood speaks to the “same, girl, same” moments and gives voice to every emotional rollercoaster that comes with motherhood. We get it—because we’re living it, too.
Community Guidelines
At Chapter One Motherhood, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive space for women and mothers. We do not condone bullying, rudeness, judgment, discrimination, or harassment of any kind. Every voice and experience matters, and we ask that all interactions remain kind, inclusive, and uplifting. This is a space to share openly about pregnancy, motherhood, and related topics without fear of negativity or criticism.
